Marchwood Rally & Race 2010

Another great event for trailer sailors, the facilities at Marchwood are excellent with secure parking for car and trailer and a big slipway. Positioned at the head of Southampton water it’s a sheltered location in all but gale force winds.
A couple of years ago only one trailer sailor attended, Max Taylor who joined in the race with the bigger boats in his 12 foot Cornish Cormorant finishing 6th overall and first on handicap. With the potential for a trailer sailor to carry off the prize it’s an even more compelling reason to attend It is also their regatta weekend so there will be dinghy racing as well for us to join in.
